Antwerp: Apud Iacobum Meursium, 1661 Book. Good. Hardcover. [24], 848, [90] pages. The title page is engraved. In old embossed vellum/pigskin binding over wooden boards with clasps still functioning. The binding is browned, stained and with some wear. Bookplate to front pastedown - Philippus Abbas S Pauli, Monasterium S Pauli in Carinthia. Small ink inscription to the centre of the title page. Some staining and browning throughout. Single worm hole towards the lower outer corner of pages from page 825 to the end. Some worming to pages at the start from the end papers through to the title page. Some pencil numbers written on the rear free end paper. There is also a small metal hook to the rear board where it was once perhaps chained to a shelf. A large and heavy volume, extra postage will be required to send it outside the UK. .
