This is a collection of 34 letters (and reminiscences) of former students, staff, and families of the Franklin & Marshall Academy The Academy, a private secondary boy's school in Lancaster PA, dates its origin to 1787. It closed in 1943 so that Franklin & Marshall College could host military training programs during World War II. This publication was issued in December 1993 in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Academy's closure. Book Condition : Very Good; no markings to text; some rubbing to white covers; a few spots on rear free end paper and inside rear cover; small stain to side text block..
