Fairly clean tight text but p69 bit splash marked (not affecting legibility). Covers bit scuffed. Slight loss to spine ends. Small loss in second panel from top. ?Contemporary armorial bookplate of Townley featuring their arms (Argent, on a fesse sable, a cinquefoil or, in chief three mullets of the second) in wreaths of flowers etc but not their name. From the library of Town Head House (Windermere). Book is in good double plus condition with noticeable signs of wear and/or age. . 1st Edition. Hardback. G++/No DW.
