Chandigarh: Botany Department, Panjab University, 1970. First edition.. Some wear to paper spine at the top and bottom, also some wear to the edges of the wrappers, overall very good.. Pp. (iii), 252; Original pale green wrappers, lettered in black on the front cover, thick 4to. Discomycetes are a group of fungi in the class Ascomycetes in which the surface of the fruiting body is exposed during maturation of the spores (from Wiki). The front cover has a small rectangular stamp "National Fungus Collections, Received March 31, 1970." This volume is from the private research collection of University of Michigan mycologist Alexander H. Smith.
