About This Item

Metropolitan Press, 1968. First edition. Hardcover. Near Fine in Very Good DJ. First edition, inscribed by the author on the title page is tight and clean while showing just a touch of shelf and trace wear, in very good dust jacket (price at flap) that shows some rubbing and edgewear that includes wrinkling, closed tears and couple of tiny open chips and with a number of scotch tape mends applied at front and reverese. 319 pages with black & whites and endpaper maps. Still a pleasing inscribed edition of this look at the early days of North Idaho mining in the Coeur D'Alene District.
