Guatemala: Tipografia Nacional, 1977. Wraps. Good. Second edition, so stated. Printed wraps. 450 pp. Text in Spanish. Illustrated reproductions of three different codices on almost every page. A guide to three Maya codices, providing illustrated images accompanied by explanatory commentary. Includes the Codice de Dresden (Dresden Codex), the Codice Peresiano (Paris Codex) and Codice Tro-Cortesiano (Madrid Codex). GOOD condition. Minor to moderate chipping and tearing along the cover edges. Heavy toning along the extremities, with otherwise moderate toning. Some foxing, spotting and staining, mostly to the rear cover. Heavy toning to the text block. Owner's name and small notation in ink and pencil on the title page, with the letter D in ink on the last page.
