Washington DC: The Carnegie Institution of Washington, 1914. First edition. Hardback. Good/No jacket. 1816 4to. Ex-library, University of Hull, with a donation label from the author. Green cloth-covered boards, 341 pages, many illustrations from photographs. Two folding maps, one as frontispiece and one bound in with text block. Condition notes: Boards bumped and worn, with some spottiness, especially to the front board. Small split to back board/spine joint (about half an inch, at the top). Wear and fraying to extremities of spine strip. Library labels, stamps and remnants to front paste down, with library's blind stamped and subsequent withdrawal stamp to title page. Both maps in excellent condition.
