An extensive classical dictionary which contains the various names and characters mentioned by ancient authors with details of the Greek and Roman coins, weights and measures. With a chronological table. The work collects anecdotes and historical facts in order to cerate an accurate image of this ancient time. An indispensable guide for the reading of the classics. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities with light rubbing to the joints. Previous owner inscription to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. Very Good
