The text is illustrated with 40 black-and-white stills from the film. Black-and-white photographic paperback binding with white coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. The complete screenplay of Orson Welles' monumental "Citizen Kane"; along with an 80 page essay on the film by Pauline Kale  which combines shrewd criticism, personal recollections and a large amount of new background material. Creasing of the book corners and rubbing of the book edges and panels. Uniform light age toning of the text block edges and pages. A previous owner has covered the book in a clear contact plastic which has become slightly yellowed. Previous owners name to the top right hand corner of the half title page.
