London: George Routledge, 1868. First Of This Edition. Half Leather. Near Fine. Large 8 Vo. Two (2) volumes in gilt lettered half red morocco leather over marbled boards. Spine divided into 6 compartments with gilt swords and knights in each compartment. Gilt edges, marbled endpapers. 116 cuts in the two volumes plus a number of colour plates throughout. darkening stain to spine ov volume 1. Bookplate to each volume on endpaper and ownership signature on title page of each volume. General edgewear but overall a very sharp atttractive set.
