Red cloth-covered boards with white lettering on front board, gilt lettering on spine, gilt and white decorations on front board and spine (pine cone, pine needles and ribbon), top edge gilt. 7 5/8 x 5 1/4 inches, 233 pp., 8 color illustrations. Very good plus (mild wear to white portion of decoration on spine; Christmas gift inscription, dated 1904, Paris, Texas). A beautiful copy which would, again, make a wonderful Christmas gift.
