Tall 8vo, beige buckram and red paper label, illustrated with 66 photographic plates (one folding) & 19 maps (one folding), dust jacket (unclipped), [xx] + 619 pages. 2 lbs. 10 oz. Excellent overview of Chinese culture and history. Volume is tight, clean, and internally bright. The dj is in excellent shape though it has mild browning along the top edge. No bookplates or ink inscriptions, though there is a small embossed hard to see ownership stamp on free front endpaper.
