Delightful record of a trip to China, undertaken by the writer Stephen Spender and artist David Hockney in 1981. 200pp illustrated throughout with 158 watercolours, drawings and photographs, 84 in colour. Gilt lettering to spine and logo to top board. Slight foxing to top edges and sellotape mark to endpaper, otherwise very good copy with no inscriptions. Unclipped DJ has minimal shelfwear and sellotape mark to rear panel, otherwise very good..
