Perfect read-aloud introduction to animals for young children, with a black and white illustration of each animal accompanied by amusing text that a child can follow along with. Pictorial hardcover, 96 pages. Covers rubbed, scratched and chipped, spine covering held on with old tape, hinges internally securely repaired with flexible tape, text block sound, pages clean with a few occasional tiny tears to the far lower margins (from overeager turning of pages no doubt), bookplate of Arthur DeMerick Marble inside front cover, no other names or markings.. Hard Cover. Fair. Oblong 8vo.
