Portrait frontispiece plate (with tissue guard) of the author, after Bertha Newcombe, title page printed in red; 70 pages,. Top edge gilt, other edges uncut. Cream buckram boards with a design blocked in gilt to the front board (same as title page), gilt lettering to the spine; binding a little dust marked. Contents good and tight with a few scattered foxing spots, end paper a little more foxed. A very good copy..
