Contains 4 articles: Centenary of the Chetham Society (7 pages) + The Royal and Seignorial Bailiffs of Lancashire in the Thirteenth and Fourteenth Centuries by Tupling (87 pages) + The Ribble Salmon Fisheries by A.T.R. Houghton (61 pages with splendid folding map) + Sir Roger Bradshaigh of Haigh, Knight and Baronet 1628-1684 with Notes of his Immediate Forbears (76 pages with multi folding pedigree of the Norris- Bradshaigh - Lindsey family and 8 fine black and white plates, mainly portraits). This is a quite scarce volume. Contains a mass of information from original sources. Bears the name of previous owner at top of front end paper. Very Good++ in original blind stamped decorative burgundy cloth binding which is very very slightly bumped at the bottom corners.
