About This Item
John Murray, 1956. 1st English Language Edition. Hardcover. VG+/VG+. 1st English Language Edition translated by Irene Ash. 19 x 12.6 cm maroon boards with white vignette to the front and titles to the spine. (iv)152pp in original unclipped jacket priced at 8s 6d net. Clean boards with firm, sharp corners and bright white titles. Internally clean, without name, inscription or bookplate. There is a small band of toning on the free endpapers where the dust jacket does not reach and a little spotting to the edge of the text block. The dust jacket which is now protected in a removable, clear cover (not shown) is very bright with a hint of spotting to the flaps, a touch of rubbing to the spine tips with 1mm loss to the foot of the spine and a faint scratch on the front bottom corner. All in all a lovely copy. Rainford & Parris Books welcomes enquiries, so please do not hesitate to ask if you require further images or have any questions. All books are packaged with great care.
