Paris: Les Editions Braun & Cie, 1954. Book. Near Very Good. Hardcover. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. Large hardcover, folio size volume bound in beige fabric texture cloth and publisher's edge-worn dust-jacket. Text entirely in French, published in France. XXIV, 16, 196 pages. Introduction by Jean Bony. Descriptions of photographs by Peter Meyer. Illustrated with 196, mostly full page, black and white photographs by Martin Hurlimann. Presumed first edition, no other printings listed. No previous ownership marks. Laid-in is a separate 22 page pamphlet (quarto, 10.5 inches tall) entitled Notre-Dame de Chartres, being a special issue of the review Notre-Dam de Chartres April, 1976, published in English. Illustrated in black and white and color. Book condition: a clean, tight, sound copy with no marking or writing. Dust-jacket is worn, with considerable edge-wear and toning to spine. Near very good in a fair dust-jacket. Pamphlet is very good. Priority and International orders will be charged postage at actual cost. .
