London: Macdonald, 1950. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. Signed by Author. First UK Edition. Publisher's pale green cloth with red spine lettering. Some uneven fading to the boards otherwise VG indeed in a lovely near fine D/W minusculy rubbed at the head and tail of the spine. Inscribed by the Author on the FFEP: "To Malcolm from John/ thanking you for your/ help". Uncommon.
