There is heavy rubbing and discoloration. Edges are bumped and beginning to fray. Outer edges of the text block are heavily toned. Front gutter is cracked. The title page has several tears. Several subsequent pages are chipped at the edges, not affecting the text. Significant foxing to the end papers. The text is heavily toned but unmarked. Contains five full page illustrations. Publication date circa 1890s.

Since 1996 we have been serving the Triad community as well as customers from around the world. We have around 15-20,000 volumes in our shop. We specialize in North Carolina, Virginia, Civil War, Old Leather, Christianity, Eastern and Western Philosophies, and the simply unusual. We very likely have the oldest books in Greensboro; we keep a nice selection of antiquarian volumes and scholarly books.
