With an introduction by Christopher Morley. Green balloon cloth, small monogram at base of spine, Toledano binding #7, front hinge cracking. Jacket in fair condition only, split in two at the spine, very dark/sunned, fragile. Pictorial jacket with ship in a large wave, green/cream/black, 95 cent price, 200 books listed. Novel of 1890s London, follows the adventures and difficulties of half-siblings Hannibal and Minnie. Though not indicated, this copy is from the library of T. R. Smith, who was chief editor at Boni & Liveright during the 1920s. More of Smith's Modern Library collection is available.
