London: Macmillan and Co., Limited, 1909. This novel of the Irish Famine was first published in 1875 by the Anglo-Irish writer Anna Maria Keary (1825-1879). An uncommon title. This is a Very Good (Minus) copy of a the fifth printing of the "New Edition" of 1889. Red c;loth binding, with ruling in black on the front cover, black lettering on the spine. Clean text; 576 pages. Corners are bumped, the spine has faded to orange, and it is shaken due to a cracked front hinge. Please note the condition issue; Quercus must offer this as a Binding Copy, in need of some restoration or repair. . Later Printing. Hard Cover. Very Good (Minus)/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
