The story of a cashier in a Montreal bank whose life changes around a rather insignificant event at work. By the author of 'The Tin Flute'. 251 pp. Book has scuffed spine ends, very slightly scuffed, unbumped, square corners, gift dedication in ink on front pastedown, dated 1955. Book is tight and square. Four corner clipped (unpriced?) DJ features author's b/w portrait by Annette & Basil Zarov of Montreal on rear panel. Wrap has chipping , several closed tears.
