London: The Crime Club. Bound in bright, red cloth with clear black titles to spine, this hardcover 1941 First Edition is VG in VG wrapper (unclipped).252pp+3pp Publishers adverts, and 22 Chapters. Bookplate pasted to FFEP (9cm x7cm). Trace of brown tape mark to FFEP, and two small tape marks to rear free endpaper. Two nicks to foot of hardcover spine, affecting just under 1 centimetre of spine cloth. Just a suggestion of fading to top/tail of spine: less than 5mm affected. Dustjacket has chips at top/tail of spine and top/tail of return flap hinges. White area of back panel slightly dirty. Photo with pleaure. Otherwise VG . Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. 1941.
