Zict[something, about 6 more letters] and the date, Jan. 1 -1943" also in pencil. Cover has a darker spot where a book or parer laid and eh rest of the cover faded around it. This is one of the red covered editions.

No bookplates, no underlining, no highlighting, no markings, no owner names, not ex-libras, not a remainder. All in all, a very serviceable copy.
