1948 first edition hardcover as pictured. The story of a five year sailing cruise down the east coast of the United States, across the Bahama banks and through the greater and lesser Antilles. Includes 15 halftones, five charts and an extensive appendix descibing islands, ports and equipment. Binding is firm. Blue cloth boards with black and gold stamping show only light edge wear. Pictorial endpapers are lightly tanned. Owner's name on FFEP. Text appears clean and unmarked. Dust jacket is faded over spine and price clipped with multiple small tears and chips at edges.
