New York: Scribners, 1923. First American edition. Hardcover. Ex-Library. First printing. A collection of short stories. Galsworthy is best remembered as the author of "The Forsyte Saga." He was also awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1932. He was an outspoken advocate for the women's suffrage movement, prison reform and animal rights. Ex-library with minimal markings, lacking a dustjacket. Still a good reading copy.
