He became a famous Texas Ranger in the 1860s and 1870s helping to track down Sam Bass and Wesley Hardin. He made 30 arrests to break up the Sutton-Taylor feud and was one of the rangers who guarded the Rio Grande. Book covers clean and bright. Top edge of front cover has a small bump. Page edges clean. No previous owner marks. Text, photographs and illustrations all clean and bright. Dust Jacket has a few small rub marks to front cover. DJ top edges gently bumped. DJ now protected in mylar. Ships same or next business day well protected in a box. ; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 350 pages .
