Extremities of boards rubbed with the cloth chipped at the spine ends. Gentle foxing to endsheets. History of Canton, Illinois by the son of the original proprietor, who laid out the town in 1825. Section titled: 'Canton's Part in the Mormon War' (pg.. 126-132). Howes 1162. Eberstadt 138:309. Flake/Draper 8544.
