Milwaukee WI: Sentinel Company. Very Good-. 1880. First Edition. Self-wraps. Thread-sewn, no wrappers. In specially made full cloth slip case with liner, gilt lettered. First sheet / cover page has minor wear to leading edges with some light soiling or browning. The first few pages have a small bit of rounding to the corners. A very scarce item, as this first edition was in a small printing intended for distribution to the author's "comrades." This classic narrative is one of the most interesting accounts of the Indian wars ever written. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 134 pages .
