Book shows only very light use in burgandy cloth with map endpapers, one corner very lightly bumped, otherwise NF Binding is solid and square, covers have sharp corners, exterior shows no blemishes, text/interior is clean and free of marking of any kind. Illustrated in two color prints. Great stories of Canada; B&W Illustrations; 150 pages; ""In 1885, when a dissatisfied band of Cree Indians attacked the settlers at Frog Lake, the call for volunteers went out and the western districts of Alberta and Saskatchewan were organized for defence against a possible full scale rebellion.""Alberta rancher Tom Strange took over these volunteers and formed them into a militia unit comprised of cowboys and Mounted Police to chase the Indian band over many rugged miles."" Sounds like children's propaganda for the invading spiritless hordes stealing and killng all the native inhabitants in a land they attacked. Fun for all ages.
