About This Item
Jacksonville, FL: Both Sides Now, Publisher, 1971. Tabloid. Good. 20 pp. Photos and illustrations throughout. Single issue of this haphazardly published "counter-cultural (underground) newspaper," from Jacksonville, Florida. Despite the small audience of like minds in Jacksonville, Florida, the FBI felt the paper was enough of a threat to form its own underground paper to compete with Both Sides Now, publishing two issues before giving up. Usual coverage of Nixon politics, anti-Vietnam War sentiment, a piece on police brutality in Miami, etc. Also present is a two page piece on the band Amboy Dukes, including an interview with Ted Nugent. GOOD condition. Mailing cancellations and stamping along the upper edge. Moderate uneven general toning. Horizontal fold crease present.

About Mare Booksellers
Mare Booksellers specializes in punk fanzines, with interests in underground newspapers and art. Who are we kidding? We really like anything with printed or handwritten letters, whether paper, books, etc. (Okay, letters and words aren't really that important either).
