Stockholm:, nd [1920].. First edition. Near Fine. A fine large format original early twentieth century color-printed lithograph on paper mounted onto buckram. (67 x 99 cm). Near Fine condition. Minor edge tears and chipping. No lettering or printer's attribution. 'Made in Sweden' stamped on verso; lower right. Artist's tiny initials 'MRi' in stylized script tucked in below the roots. A beautifully rendered composition of two entire plants of Eriophorum angustifolium (Common cottongrass or cottonsedge): illustrating one in elegant and ephemeral blooming phase and one in seed phase, all surrounded by enlarged details of pods and, blossom. single sheet
