Methuen & Co, 1911. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1911. First Edition. 292 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with gilt titles and decoration to front and spine. Publisher's adverts to rear. Illustrated by A R Quinton. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Pencil inscriptions to front pastedown. Bookseller's sticker to rear pastedown. Boards have some edge wear, with moderate bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are slightly crushed and frayed. A bit scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Slight splits to joints. Faint water staining and bubbling to rear. Gilt is bright. Book has a substantial forward lean.
