With a signed note from the author inserted regarding the purchase and payment of books. Illustrated throughout with decorative head and tail pieces. Percy Fitzgerald was an Anglo-Irish author and critic. He was a contributor to Dicken's magazine Household Words, and this work contains a chapter on Dickensiana. Direct from the library of the late Hugh Selbourne MD (1906-1973) a noted book collector and diarist. a cloth binding. Externally excellent with some light wear at extremities. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Bookplate of Walter Flinn to front pastedown. Autograph inserted to front blanks. Near Fine

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
