Oxford: Printed at the University Press, [1910]. First edition. Leather_bound. Very Good. 1 7/8 x 2 3/16 inches. 702 pages. All pages edges gilt. Black endpapers. Pages clean and free from marking, soiling or staining. Very clean. No marks or ownership inscriptions. Gilt lightly worn in places, but still bright. Bound in full dark green pebble grained morocco with gilt "Common Prayer" to spine and hallmarked silver front cover with unusual variant cherub design. Hallmark .925 sterling, "G & C L[td], Birmingham, dated 1910, likely mark of Green & Cadbury, manufacturers of silver fancy goods. First Georgian printing of this miniature edition. See Griffiths 1905/5. A very good Georgian first miniature printing of the Book of Common Prayer which replaced the "Finger Prayer Book" with a hallmarked sterling silver cover.
