The first edition of this work.A beautiful and extensive work on cake baking and decorating, a detailed guide for the reader replete with recipes.Illustrated with forty-eight chromolithograph plates.Collated, complete.By T. Percy Lewis and A. G. Bromley.Undated, dated from Jisc from a copy held at the University of Cambridge Libraries.Pages 241 to 288 contain adverts. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, with some rubbing and marks to the boards and spine. Some bumping to the spine and extremities. Hinges are a little strained but remain firm. Small puncture mark to the front board, and to the following few pages. Internally, binding is broken in a few places, with some pages and plates detached but present, though not lacking any pages. Pages are bright and generally clean with some spots. Light edge wear to the detached pages. Good Only
