Puffin Books, Middlesex, GB. 1954 (later printing) soft cover, approx. 9x7" high, 32 p.ps., staple bound, GOOD. From the ancient Greek & Roman armour to the various helmets of World War II, & especially during the 800 years before guns became primary weapons of war, the author provides, in limited space, detailed descriptions, uses & illustrations of the armour & weapons of combat. Brightly colored fr. & back covers show various suits of armour. Covers have edge wear, some discoloration, a small tear at fr. base, tape mark on both sides along spine, corner creases & curls & a crayon mark across back, Inside, a few pencil check marks and a small tape mark on one page are only defects. Staples are solid & book is very readable: GOOD. MAILED FROM THE U.S.A.
