Hardcover, 1936 reprint/second impression (originally published 1932), with 16 illustrations and five maps/plans, one of which folds out, published by George G. Harrap & Co. Ltd., London, 247 pages.
Octavo/8vo. Measures around 8 3/4" by 6" by 1 1/2". Dust jacket is somewhat tattered with several chips out of it and has been given a protective plastic cover. It is also marked, more so to rear, with some discolouration to spine. Silver-coloured cloth binding, with discolouration towards board edges and on spine, though reasonably clean. Signs of shelf-wear, tearing to lower spine edge. Book has slight forward tilt. Page edges browned, tanned, marked and scuffed. The odd mark to page surfaces but otherwise clean clean, with no marginalia, underlining, etc. See pictures for further information.
