Boston: Cupples, Upham, and Company, 1884. First edition, 1884. Illustrated account of three tours on New England rivers: I. An Inland Voyage on the Sudbury, Concord and Merrimac Rivers; II. An Autumn Cruise on the Housatonic; III. The Nashua River. Describes scenery and history along the way. Green cloth printed in black, 176 pages plus an advertisement for oars and sculls. Some edgewear, including light fraying to the corners and spine ends, good hinges, a couple of page gatherings not quite square with the text block (perhaps an old repair of some loosened pages), personal bookplate on front pastedown, no other markings, some light soil to endpapers.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
