Synopsis

Edward Gorey's dark sense of humor brings us opera understudy, Ortenzia Caviglia, and her lucky break is the mysterious murder of the reigning diva. Now that she is in the spotlight, she earns an admirer, Mr. Jasper Ankle, who braves dangerous weather and suffers poverty in his quest to hear her perform.
