About This Item

Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1918. Wraps. Good. Printed wraps. 23 pp. A plea to English General Smuts at the end of World War I, to not abandon the people of German East Africa, specifically those indigenous to the region. Weston cites incidents of torture and flogging of native peoples, and general cruelty under German rule. GOOD condition. Slightly ex-library with a very small Yale library stamp on the lower rear cover. Some wrinkling and creasing to the booklet, with minor toning and soiling. Faint pencil note along the spine of the front cover.
