Original brown and white cloth, with gilt illustration and decorations. Oblong 23 cm. Ends of backstrip and corners frayed; splitting along front joint; otherwise an attractive copy. No jacket. All edges gilt. An anthology of poetry by various authors, with 8 illustrations, five of which are scenes from the Holy Land ("The Sea of Galilee from Tiberias", "Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem", "Alexandria", "The Mount of Olives from Jerusalem", "Jerusalem from Mount Scopus").
