Title page states: From The Restoration of Charles II to the Treaty of Peace at Utrecht, in the Reign of Queen Anne. A New Edition with Historical and Biographical Notes and fifty-one portraits. Volume I runs from page 1 to page 397 + 16 pages of front-mater. Volume II runs from page 397 to 949 (including index). The quarter bound boards on both books have been taped to the spine with clear tape; the book block in Volume I is lifting away from the guards, Volume II is in slightly better condition. Covers chipped and bumped, edges aged, pencil annotations on several pages. Given the age of these volumes they are in an acceptable readable condition. Your purchase helps our village library. p+s
