Macmillan & Co, 1869. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1869. No Edition Remarks. 445 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth covered boards with gilt. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout, heavier at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout however binding remains reasonably firm. Ex Libris plate to front pastedown. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering is darkened. Splits to spine joints. Moderate tanning to spine.
