New York: Macaulay, 1922. A young woman marries an older man and, while on their European honeymoon, falls in love with a dashing young man. Photplay edition with scenes from the 1922 silent movie starring Gloria Swanson and Rudolph Valentino. Red boards with bold black print lightly bumped and rubbed with a small drip mark on the spine and several tiny holes to the lower gutters and spine. Nibbling to the lower hinges with a bit of foxing to the end papers, edges of the text block, and occasionally throughout. All plates present. Jacket rubbed and tanned with small chips and tears, corresponding drip mark to the spine, in Brodart.. Hard Cover. Good/Good.
