Charles Francis Press, 1903. First Edition. Hardcover. Good. Signed. Laid in is a check SIGNED by Zane Grey. Frontis and 5 other illustrations by Zane Grey. Deckle fore and bottom edges. Spine ends, corners, joints and hinges have been professionally refurbished. The volume has a toned spine with very diminished gilt to the lettering, and the panels have some soiling and two splash marks on the title panel. The interior has a bookplate on the front pastedown, and some finger soiling to the pages. Author's first book.
