In near fine condition with a good slipcase(SC; yellow marking to bottom of slipcase)A clean and tight copy. 205pp. Beautiful coloured miniatures. The Bestiary, or Book of Beasts, is introduced by Richard Barber. He concludes by noting that this book can be read and enjoyed on many levels. It will for example entertain as a collection of curious lore. Mainly however it will delight the eye with some of the most charming miniatures to be found in any medieval manuscript.
