Green cloth with black lettering and 4 black images to front, black-lettered spine, a few small brown spots to bottom fr. outer edge otherwise clean and virtually unworn bar sl. spine end rubbing but text-block as a whole slightly shaken. Coloured f/piece with tissue guard + Preface + 182 + (12, pub. list), 11 further col. plates as called for with tissue-guards and facing caption, inc. in pagination, 8 small text ills in first chapter on methods of capturing etc.; outer sides of end-papers tanned, small sig, stamp and same persons small tipped on sig. top front end-paper, otherwise internally clean and unmarked, gutters all seem good but as noted above, text-block feels a little shaken. Coloured plates are very good. 17.5 cm x 23 cm
