Chester: Foregate-Street: J Fletcher, 1800. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. VG, 1st ed 1800. In early 20c purple cloth, gilt title to spine. Internally, [4], [1], 2-56 pp, ink name to title page (? Roberts), new brown endpapers & eps, small binders label to fpd, 3 small bubbles to upper board, some light browning throughout, occasional pencil highlights, numerous blank leaves bound in at end. (8vo, 135*217 mm). (ESTC T115460 Allibone 1111). Title continues: with notes, descriptive and explanatory; particulars of the Druids, founders of some of the fifteen tribes of North Wales, the families descended from them, and quotations from the bards. With an appendix: containing an account of the battle of Beaumaris in 1648, and the taking of the castle. Llwyd came to be considered an authority on Welsh heraldry and genealogy' (DWB), and as a result was received into many aristocratic households. ODNB.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS You may request to cancel a book order or return a book within 14 days of receipt of the book. Item not as described: The condition of the book does not match the description on Madoc Books. Incorrect item delivered: The title, cover or edition of the book is different than the title on the order. Item not received: The estimated delivery date has passed and the book has still not arrived. To cancel a book order or return a book simply contact Madoc with your order confirmation details and to obtain the return address.

DELIVERY DETAILS We ship all of our orders via Royal Mail. Orders are usually shipped within 2 or 3 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized or a multiple in books we will contact you to let you know that extra shipping is required. Insurance costs are usually dictated by the shippers, should they be higher than normal, then we will contact you for your acceptance.
